Meet the Team

Before coming to CSU, Patrick was the Director of the Career Center at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, OH. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s degree in Counseling from New York University. Patrick is also credentialed as a Global Career Development Facilitator. He is the liaison to the College of Arts and his academic focus area is Fine and Performing Arts.

Prior to joining the Center for Career Design, Laurie served as the Marketing and Recruitment Director at the Turner College of Business & Technology. She has 20+ years of experience in the business world, having worked in sales, marketing, and public relations roles, most recently with Merck Pharmaceutical Company. Laurie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business and Public Relations from Columbus State University. She is the liaison to the College of Education and Health Professions and the Turner College of Business & Technology.

Prior to joining the Center for Career Design, Theresa served as the Care Services Coordinator in the Center for Servant Leadership at CSU. She has over 20 years of experience working with, advocating for, and serving military communities. Theresa has a Master’s degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Centre College. Her assigned academic focus area at CSU is the College of Education and Health Professions.

Reggie is a U.S. Army veteran with over 30 years of service, retiring at the rank of Command Sergeant Major. He brings extensive leadership, coaching, and workforce development experience to higher education, including his prior role as Regional Director for Military and Veteran Affairs at a national nonprofit, where he guided service members through career transitions into civilian employment. Reggie holds a Master of Education in Lifelong Learning and Adult Education (M.Ed.) degree from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies degree from Liberty University. His academic focus is Humanities, and he serves as the Internship Coordinator, where he is passionate about experiential learning, student development, and creating accessible, supportive career pathways for students and alumni.

Randy is a military veteran having served in the U.S. Army for 29+ years. At the time of his discharge, he held the rank of Sergeant Major. Before joining CSU, Randy was an Adjunct Professor at the Georgia Military College. He is currently completing his Ed.D. in Leadership and Instructional Practice from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Randy has a Master’s degree from Penn State University in Lifelong Learning and Adult Education as well as Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso. His assigned academic focus area here at CSU is Social Sciences.

Prior to joining CSU, Ashleigh Passafume was a Public Health Analyst at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Mycotic Diseases Branch. A former Presidential Management Fellow, she previously held leadership roles in higher education and global engagement. Ashleigh holds a Master of Education in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of West Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Anthropology from Louisiana State University. Ashleigh’s assigned academic focus area here at CSU is STEM.
