Career Assessments

The Center for Career Design offers four standardized career assessments which are described below. All four assessments are designed to promote self-awareness and facilitate professional growth by proving insights into an individual’s career interests and personality.

Please note there is a cost associated in completing each of the assessments and the individual completing the assessment is responsible for the payment of the cost.

The Strong Interest Inventory

The Strong Interest Inventory® assessment is a career exploration and planning tool designed to identify an individual’s interests and work preferences. It helps people explore potential careers and educational pathways that align with their interests, leading to more informed decisions and successful, fulfilling careers.

1. Strong Interest Inventory Profile Report, College Edition (Cost: $12.95)

The 13-page Strong College Profile offers personalized results designed specifically for college students. Features:

  • ·Helps you to identify specific college courses and academic majors that fit your interests and preferences
  • Uses your interests to expand your exploration of courses, extracurricular activities, internships, and part-time jobs
  • Informs you about the educational requirements for occupations you are likely to pursue
  • Encourages you to express your unique interests and personal style to help make the college experience more personally enriching
2. Strong Interest Inventory Profile Report, College Edition + Strong and MBTI Career Report (Cost: $21.95)

The Strong Profile, College Edition, and the Strong and MBTI® Career Report are included in this bundle. It includes all the features of the Strong College Profile listed above, but in addition, gives you a complete career development picture based on a combined interpretation of your interests and personality.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment is a tool that helps people increase their self-awareness, understand and appreciate differences in others, and apply personality insights to improve their personal and professional effectiveness.

3. MBTI Career Report (Cost: $19.95)

This 10-page report provides invaluable insights into preferred work tasks and environments for people of each MBTI type. It also includes most popular and least popular occupations lists for each type and preference-based development strategies to improve job satisfaction. The MBTI® Career Report is suitable for a wide range of applications, including career planning or transition.

4. MBTI Profile Report – College Edition (Cost: $19.95)

This 2-page personalized report furnishes a summary for students of MBTI Step I™ (Form M) results.
