We are seeking a highly motivated intern pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or a related technical field who is especially interested in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience at the intersection of industrial systems and AI-driven innovation. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and consultants, gaining exposure to real-world projects while contributing to initiatives that explore how AI can enhance industrial operations, data insights, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • With guidance and supervision, you will:
  • Support project teams in delivering high-quality engineering and technical services
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and visualization efforts for client solutions
  • Contribute to AI-focused initiatives, such as:
    • Exploring machine learning applications in industrial environments
    • Assisting with data modeling, pattern recognition, or predictive analytics
    • Supporting proof-of-concept development for AI-enabled tools
  • Participate in software configuration, testing, and documentation
  • Shadow engineers and consultants to learn project execution and client engagement
  • Assist with pilots, demos, and internal innovation projects
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data, and consulting teams
  • Build foundational knowledge of industrial systems, automation, and digital transformation

Learning & Development Focus

  • Mentorship from experienced engineers and AI-focused team members
  • Exposure to real-world industrial environments (manufacturing, utilities, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with industrial software, data platforms, and emerging AI tools
  • Opportunities to develop skills in:
    • Data analysis and visualization
    • Machine learning fundamentals
    • Technical problem-solving in operational environments
  • Development of communication, presentation, and consulting skills

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed:

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong interest in AI, machine learning, and data-driven technologies
  • Foundational knowledge of programming (Python, Java, or similar)
  • Analytical mindset and curiosity about how technology improves real-world operations

Preferred:

  • Coursework or projects involving AI, machine learning, or data analytics
  • Experience with tools such as Python libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, etc.)
  • Exposure to data visualization tools or platforms
  • Interest in industrial automation, IoT, or systems integration
